School starts and the boys begin to change themselves, physically and mentally, to impress Rosemary.
The Bilbee Boys explores the insecurities, societal pressures and media influences teenagers and young adults face, through the eyes of three teenage brothers.
"Standing Silent Nation"
Synopsis:
What does a family have to endure to create a future for itself?
A Native American family plants industrial hemp on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. They put their hopes for a sustainable economy in hemp’s hardiness and a demand for its many products, from clothing to food. But when federal agents raided the White Plume’s fields, the Lakota Nation was swept into a Byzantine struggle over tribal sovereignty, economic rights, and common sense.
Standing Silent Nation tells the story of Alex White Plume’s efforts to pull his family out of poverty despite the obstacles of an irrational federal policy. The film transports the viewer into a world that has nearly been erased from the general American consciousness
